I just ordered a Randall RH150DG3 amp. What are your thoughts on these amps? They looked really good for the price. I was looking at tube amps but tey just werent really in my price range.

I was considering the same head, and I tried it and liked it. It's got that "tube like" sound quality which I notice especially on the clean channel. You can crank it and drive the clean if you want, or keep it nice and clean and the distortion dosen't seem to be as razor sharp as on their SS models, but it has a nice warmth and roundess to it. For what it is, and the price, it's a great sounding head. The only reason I didn't go with it is because I'm experimenting with different tones, and going between rack and head units. I'm a tone freak man, I can find good tones, but I just like playing with gear. Actually that makes me a gear whore, but it's fun
