Mesa durability question

    I had a Mesa F-30 1x12 combo on top of a 4x12 cabinet in my basement... I accidentally knocked it over one day as I tripped over my guitar cable that was plugged into it. It hit the floor pretty hard, but nothing happened to it!
    I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

      I don't see how that is possible. I've heard of loose tube sockets, but not to that extent???!!

        I've found that Mesa's have looser powertube socket's than other amps, and a solid bounce upside down would definately knock them out.

          Hummm....my 2-channel Dual Recto's tubes all fit fairly tight. And those retainer clips help even more.

              The amp hit the concrete HARD, and bounced. If I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes, I would have thought it not possible as well...
