Definitely use some cloth, or vinyl or latex gloves or a sock. Touching the tubes will shorten their life.

Remember: "A TUBE AMPLIFIER HAS LIKE A BILLION VOLTS STORED UP" Even when it is off for hours. Be very careful touching things. And make sure it's unplugged. Rubber shoes and one hand and all that.

Make sure you're stepping in a puddle of water first.

And if the tubes are hot, just spray them with a little water.:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: Gio could become Frankenstein if he ain't careful.

Maybe, I should fuk with my amps. I could use a good jolt. Right now, all I have tube-wise is an old very good tube tester with lots of knobs. Maybe if I spit on a fork.........

I'm going to find a way to get regular light bulbs to fit in where the tubes go.

that way I can use my amp as a sweet lamp when I'm not using it
