  • hughhes & kettner amps

I've been eyeballing there blu 60r amp, and was wondering if anybody here has had a chance to play one or not. It seems like a good deal but I live so far away from civillization that I can't check one out for myself. Anyway anyfeedback would be appreciated.

i have a h&k metroverb and it was a ok amp.
the sounds were passable but not inspiring.

i've also played a edition tube 20 which sounds awesome, a tube factor which is pretty cool also and a warp factor pedal which is my fav distortion pedal.

so if you are looking for an amp, i would either go with the tube h&k or look somewhere else for a solid state amp.

depending on the type of music and budget, a line 6/peavey/or tech 21 might be a better choice.

yeah i'm not sure what the blu 60r is. if it is tubed then it would probably be pretty cool. thier tube amps are awesome.

It's not a tube amp, but all the reviews are good on it, and I was gonna run my uber pedal in front of it. Price is pretty decent on it, so I was hoping it would rate pretty high with people lol. Thanks again for any input.

I love my Duotone half stack. Loud & versatile. Nice crunch...
