          Who???

We all know there is only ONE British tone......

          Can it get it?

          Can it achieve the ultimate?

It is a little lighter than black....a popular color in the '70s.....

CAN SHE GET BROWN, MY MAN???

          That is the question.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

And damn those prices are cheap!

Wow, I didn't know Opeth used the GT-6. They do have very good tone. No wonder... they are using a modeler.
Are there any Opeth downloadable patches online??

JG, here's an interesting thread about settings for Opeth

Think 80's MSG era Schenker. This isn't a high gain monster, more like a 70's early 80's blues rock/hard rock sorta thing. It has plenty of distortion for me. More importantly, it has the most control of the gain I have ever experienced in an amp. The 2 seperate gain controls make dialing in the exact amount super simple.

Hahaha, ok, let me qualify that statement a bit more. I am a 70's/80's hard rock kinda guy. This amp will do the british tone ala Vox, Marshall, etc.. from the 60's thru the 80's. If you are looking for hardcore modern metal, this aint the amp for you. I can get a respectable Maiden or Priest sound without throwing a pedal on it, but that's as far as I would go. It wouldn't do "Painkiller" for example, but nails that "Stained Class" tone.

They're STILL both using GT-6s. I can provide pictures if you like as I just saw them two weeks ago...three times in fact.

Interestingly they were using Marshalls in New Zealand, Laney (VH100Rs) gear in Australia.

BTW, that little amp looks awesome.
