What's on yours? Here's my current setup...

I'm thinking about adding a Whammy pedal and possibly swapping the MXR Chorus for a choralflange or building my own Chorus.

I have a very small board now.

In front of the amp (because I have no effects loopon my Carvin combo)

Guitar---Boss PW-10 (modeling wah)---Ibanez TS9DX Tube Screamer---MXR Distortion + (slightly modded)---Boss RV-3 Digital reverb/delay---Boss TU12 tuner. I also have the Carvin 3 button footswitch that controls Channel switching, boost, reverb.
My Carvin X60 combo has a really cool feature of having the middle button on the footswitch control a factory preset 6db boost for solos.

Mines goes Boss TU2-Electro Harmonix Small Stone-Boss NS2-Line 6 DL4 into the amp, then with a Boss DD5 and an Ibanez CS9 in the loop, also on the board. Of course the big Rectifier footswitch and the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 are on there as well. I figured out a way to put the footswitch in the top of my amp case though, so maybe I could get some more pedals and put them in place of that...not sure what though.

Box, why is the delay in the front of the amp? They tend to sound cleaner in the loop.

That's it. I'll probably be replacing the Ibanez Delay with something else soon, and adding a tuner pedal, and a chorus.

I really like what I have but I want to record, play some lower tuned stuff, and play with more than 1 tone. The modeling stuff is the best affordable way to do it.

I use the boss mt2, ge7, ch1 and dd3 + wah and volume pedal.

I'm happy with this setup for now. I can get all the sounds I want/need. Maybe I'll get a GT8 one day, but for now I'm satisfied.

Yep. I have had 3 Astroverbs, I currently have a Soldano rack system, a bunch of other tube amps, a Boss GT-6 rack based system and a Vetta HD/ FBV longboard.
If you want a stand alone modeling amp that will do it all go with a Vetta and longboard.
If you want a modeling processor (with no amp) to use at home (through your computer speakers), at the studio (direct into the computer or board) or at the gig (by adding an amp) go with either a Boss GT-6, GT-8 or an XT Live. I am partial to the Boss gear because the GT-6 has an incredible acoustic simulator.

I have a real nice small rack system that can go from home to the studio to the gig consisting of:
4RMS soft road case (for easy transport)
Marshall 8004 Valvestate SS poweramp (loud sucker and sounds good too)
Ross 31 band graphic EQ (I like the way it punches up the Boss GT-6)
rack mount power strip
Boss GT-6 on the floor

The above small rig really covers a ton of ground. The Boss GT-6 is really a nice piece of equipment.

I really liked the Astroverb. I'm into everything Soldano. The only thing I wished it had was an effects loop. If you like to turn the gain up on it you have to deal with the fact that it only gets 1 sound. It doesn't clean up unless you really turn the volume up and the gain pretty far down.
I owned 3 of them in various styles. I wish I still had one. I thought it was a damn fine amp. Especially for recording.

Pete the idea behind my two delay pedals is to have the DD5 in the loop for clean sounding delay stuff, then the DL4 out in the front for the crazier stuff, like delay with near-endless feedback, Memory Man and tape echo simulators with lots of degradation, etc. Plus the DL4 really ruins the sound of the amp when its in the loop, or at least my amp...I couldnt believe how bad it made everything sound, even off.

yeah, rectifiers have pretty craptacular fx loops. I'm sure when I get the racktifier out of layaway the first time I use the loop I will cringe.

Cool idea, I'm thinking of using two delays, but running one in 'reverse' mode with just enough advance time to still play live with it. You can do some crazy shit in reverse mode!

Pete the DD5 and the CS9 really dont sound that bad in the loop at all, I thought I wouldnt like it either but they really do a fine job. I think with the newer rectifiers anyway, coordinating the effects loop mix controls on the back of the amp and the level controls on the effects are essential. If you wanna get a delay with reverse and still have other options, maybe look at the DL4, as long as you dont mind running it in the front of the amp-it has that as well as a lot of other cool modes and you can save 3 presets and do the tap tempo on all of them as well.
