I scored that Avatar cab last week with the 2 Hellatone V30s in it, but last night I won a Marshall 1960AX off of the bay, so I'm thinking of maybe mixing the speakers up a bit.
putting the 2 hellatones V30's in the bottom and running the 2 greenbacks on top.
Anyone here ever try that combo in a Marshall top?
Any opinions on how it will sound? Will these 2 speakers blend well or should I just run the 4 green backs? I could run the Marsahll cab and the Avatar together as well, that is another option, so I get 6 speakers going at once???
BTW the Avatar cab sounds great but it sounds much better when I crank it up a bit , so I'm hoping the lower wattage greenbacks will let me get away with playing at a little lower volume.
