I'm back to thinking about this myself. I cranked my 5150 yesterday and that annoying midrange "honk" that is present when these things are at low volume disappeared, it suddenly sounded like its "supposed to" but with the post gain at 4-5 (which is where I ran it yesterday) it's sooooooooooooo freaking loud, I can't even stay in the room with it..................never mind the neighbors :ROTF:
