  • Rocktron Intellifex question...

Hey all... I'm looking to get a Rocktron Intellifex... does anyone have any recommendations at a good price.... ??

Looking at a couple on ebay, black face, around $50 to $100... wanna use it with my Mark IV...

    Thanks,

A lot of people who reviewed the Intellifex on Harmony Central appear to have spent $100-200 used, and quite a bit more new. I paid $300 for a MultiValve (predecessor to the Intellifex?) and now am thinking I should have shopped around!

I have a very high opinion of the Rocktron gear I've owned, although their stuff isn't flawless. The MultiValve had a brief gap (1ms) between some patches, and I've read the same about the Intellifex and other processors. I contacted Rocktron's tech support, and they acknowledged the issue but could only suggest tweaking settings. Despite that, I will continue to buy more of their equipment if necessary, because the sound quality is quite good.

Probably the best $100 you can spend... they are great. I have to Xpressions myself but, have messed around with Intellifex's in the past.

Can't complain much about mine. Used it for years now.

          The Intellifex is a workhorse

you can't go wrong with one. Very transparent and really decent sounding Chorus, Pitch, Delay and Reverb.
          Good deals with:
          Metal Medal II, Tonyl11
