DS 2000 401 Marshall....Any thoughts?

There is one of these amps in some gear I am trading and I really don't know to much about these.Any help will be much appreciated...................

It's DSL 2000 401.I can't frickin read my own handwriting!........................

They're EL84 powered.

Personally, I'd rather have one of the larger EL34 powered ones.

I don't know specifically about the DSL401, but I had a DSL201 from the same series. The clean channel was pretty good but that was it. The reverb was weak, the effect loop was terrible and the OD channel was rotten. All in all, worst Marshall tube amp I ever played.

The later Marshalls aren't exactly renowned for their build quality either. Avoid.
