Blackmore vs Krankenstein

can anybody compare the 2 ?

... I was looking at the Randall module stuff also, especially like the XTC module and the recto module, from what I heard it's spot on, as well as the Marshall module ... do you find the XTC module to be really metal and well done or is it more of an hard rock module ?

i've never played either the krankenstein or the randall stuff, but i used to own the blackmore....in a nutshell:
awesome low volume amp
crappy high volume amp
OK amount of bass, lots of highs, very tight at the expense of thickness, severe lack of low mids
fabulous clean channel

The Krankenstein I tried out (with the matching cab) sounded like a really, really, really loud 15 watt Gorilla with a ripped speaker cone. Actually that's not fair, the Gorilla sounds much better.

LOL My first amp back in '86 was a Gorilla Tube Cruncher! As far as I know, it's still alive and well (pots a little staticy), but I left it at an ex-friend's house for him to practice on about 4 years ago. Hope that gorilla buttfucks him until he bleeds profusely.
