Would you guys tell me if this is a good amp for metal++++++ I have a chance at a like new one with case for $700 shipped. Please tell me if they are well built and what they sound like and if that is a good price? Thanks-Jack.

I think it's similar to the IE4 preamp. If so it should be a solid hot rodded sounding Marshally kind of thing. -
Thanks man. I heard it, and it was a little brigth sounding for me, but a well made amp. It neaded more depth and gain, but would be a great hard rock and rock amp. I didn`t like the marshall cab with the 4 greenbacks thats for sure, they sound funky
