  • Marshall Studio 15- yeah, baby!

I just got a MArshall 4001, Studio 15. My Marshall search is over. This little wonder gets the tone, whether on 2 or 10. If you come across one of these and love the early 80's tone with a stomp box, these absolutely kill and are almost noiseless. Don't let the 15 watts fool you. It is one damn loud little amp.

Those are cool. I hear it's got a built-in attenuator whereby you can plug the speaker into the headphone jack and it attenuates the amp down to 1 watt.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

What are the details of the Studio 15? Is it the same circuit as the Micro Stacks, because I love my 3 old ones from the 80's. I haven't tried the newer Micro Stacks yet (with the reverb and CD-in).

No no no! Not the same as a micro stack. The Studio 15 is an all tube, single channel 15 watt amp with 6V6 power tubes.

I had one once and it was killer. Wish I still had it. A very cool amp for sure.
