Pinto, how do you like that JMP-1? I had been pondering getting one of those and an EL4 100/100. What are your thoughts?

I love my trusty, cool JMP-1..it will NEVER leave my hands ..EVER!!

They only pedal I have is a 535Q..

I have three programs in my G-Major..I need a switcher for those.

                For me, less is more..

Annah, Do you like classic VH's , Criss Oliva's , Chuck Shuldiner's, or Glen Drover's tone..if you said yes to any of these..get the JMP-1!!

I don't recommend using a EL 34 tube poweramp with the JMP-1..I never liked that match..

6L6 is works great with them tho..for the above tones..IMO

I'm having good luck with it so far. I only got it a couple of months ago so I'm still learning the finer bits...

I need to find an EL34 50/50 to mate with it. It's very 1992 init's gain structure, but the clean "channels" are pushed easily with a good dirt box with good results.

Sorry (again) for the delayed reply. It's basically allows various ways to route and / or split your signal. I don't use it for much...just run the stereo outs from my Choralflange into it, then back out again to the amps.

Pinto..try a dual 100 watt poweramp with 6L6's in stereo..a Marshall Monoblock, a Peavey 120/120..it's friggin' awesome...just "try it".. and bring your rig with you..

                        even better ..a VHT 2150 w/Kt88s..

I heard and had many buds with the EL34 version of the Monoblock..no thank you!

But if your happy with what ya got..cool

GODDAMMIT!!!! I have to get one of those! Can I pick one up at GC? Are they cheap? Will they plug right into my rig? HAHAH!

Sorry, screamindv, I'm just bein' silly. That rocks that you're so busy with shows and that you have roadies. I am seriously looking forward to the day when I have my own guy/guys to help me out, AND when I can actually pay them for what they do.

So what band are you in? Where do you usually play?

Now you have my interest. I am in Connecticut so I am local to you. What band are you in... where do you play and most importantly... how the fuck do you make enough money playing live to pay your roadies well???? :ROTF:

Even in my most successful band.. our roadies were paid spit but the groupie tips were great.
