What brand of noise gate do you use to control hiss on a high gain amp. I have a Peavey 6505 amp. I'm getting use to the hiss and I know it's a part of life when using this type of equipment.

NS-2 or ISP Decimator or if you're racking it the noise gate in the GMajor. Throw the Noise Gate in the loop and it should control that hiss. NS-2 with the four cable method will make it dead silent. -
