The Flextone does not have a built in tuner, though.

If you are using the Floorboard, it DOES.

I've had all the Flextones to date, and my favorite is still my first one - the Flextone Duo (2x10 combo), but I'm now playing the Flextone III XL (2x12) and using the FBV shortboard. Tuner works great BTW...

With the goal of being as inexpensive as possible, I'd definitely check out the V-Ampire stuff. Built-in tuner, all sorts of models, footswitch included

Depending on your budget, I'd think about the V-ampire head with a nice 2x12 cab (Avatar) or something like that.

I may do that as a 2nd amp for myself just for fun.

I checked out the site Troy. It seems that it's only available with 2 - 10" speakers.

2x10's are a really sweet sounding set-up. DON'T WRITE IT OFF UNTIL YOU TRY IT!!
