Mesa 3 gurus, advice sought

I know what a blue stripe is.. anyone have any idea of what the R and the black markings signify. Amp have eq and verb. Reverb?

I have no idea. Though Reverb might be a safe bet.

Just call up the factory and speak to Mike directly, easiest way and you'll get it straight from the source.

Mike Bendinelli? how does the guy find time to do any work with people calling him?
I've never called Mesa but maybe I will in due time. It was just curiousity about the red R, didn't know if anyone else may have the same or seen as such.

Oh you can definitly get him on the phone.

I'm going to call him up as well, FYI, about some simillar markings on my Quad ('Wa' and a Red Stripe on the reverbtank)

The R stands for a reverb upgrade. The chassis has marker in red with a '94 date.
