Bought one yesterday, since my Randall RM100 lost some high end and volume running the GT8. Dammit! Also bought a Digitech IPS33, which is a programmable intelligent pitch shifter. We'll see how well it works. now I have a pedalboard, amp and rack to take to gigs. *rolls eyes*

The G-Major is incredible. I love mine. Totally transparent effects that don't mess with your original tone.
My Gt6 colored the sound too. Some highs and volume were lost too. I noticed the same thing with any modeler/processor that I tried. The G-Major is the only effects processor you will ever need... along with a wah pedal!!

Pete, I know you've probably answered this before, but which modules do you have in your RM100?

XTC, Recto, Brown, Blackface and clean, which I traded for a SL+, just need to get it shipped out. Blackface is a great clean module that can have a little grit, and of the other three, best highgain imho is XTC. Brown is medium gain, Recto is kinda muddy, but I'm hoping the G-major helps with the loss of highs and lows.

Have you tried the 1086 (I think that's what it is called?) I heard that one is crazy....

I'm really curious about the RM100 / RM4 for really good high gain and really good clean sounds.

1086, isn't that the Dan Donegan one?

I don't know how I feel about the RM100 yet, but I've heard some good things about them.

I like my triple recto, but I've heard some not so pretty things about the FX loop.
