I hate to start a new thread for this without doing a search first, but I'm super busy over here in the UAE and have no time, really - you haven't seen me here in a while, have you? LOL! Please cast your vote for your suggestion between the 2 practice amps listed. Any addtional comments (pro or con) will be warmly welcomed. Thanx!!!!

I've owned them both and prefer the Peavey tonewise, but you'll get a little more versitility out of the Spider

From everyone's comments, I would have put a cube30 in there or VOXADT15?

I think the spider II is pretty good for metal, haven't tried it for other styles or checked the clean and can't compare it to the Peavey (therefore I couldn't vote).

I should have clarified something in my original post. There's a guy here headed back to the states soon who has both and is looking to sell them before he leaves. Not many interested buyers unless you're permanent party like me. N-E-HOO, these are my only 2 choices. I'm looking for something to use to alternate use along with my GNX4 for a while. just a change of pace, sorta.

          spider, no contest imho.
having that said i'd rather buy a cube 30, but seeing how that's not an option the spider wins hands down....

+3 for the Cube 30, best small practice amp I've ever played.

Out of the two, the Spider!

The little vox battery operated portable is a nice little tote about practice amp for about a 100.00 if your looking for a even more pignose type of option.

Out of those two choices, Peavey Transtube. No contest IMO.

Spider is more versatile by far.

Spider II - Love my PODxt and when I played a Spider II at guitar center it sounded just like my POD through monitors
