  • Rivera Knucklehead any good?

One company I know nothing about.
What is the consensus on these? (IE what are they good/bad for)
    thanks
    Nick
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

It depends on which Kuncklehead you are thinking.
First Rivera is one of the if not THE best customer service company around. Accesible and friendly, on any given day you can grab the phone and get Paul Rivera Sr. or Jr. on the phone and talk away because they are very helpful and friendly.

Having said that, I had a Knucklehead 55. Loud as all hell, glassy three dimensional clean tones and a solid overdrive ala JCM800 with some more girth.
I moved on to the K Reverb, loud as all hell, three channels, more gain and tons of bells and whistles.
I also have a LosLobottom Sub1 that in concert with the KR will shake your sack like no other amp/cab combination.

I had some issues with the KR since it was the 11th unit out of the factory, when they first came out. Talked to Paul Sr. many times, got it fixed and one day I get home the phone rings and it was Paul Sr. just checking how the amp was behaving, wanted me to play some for him on the phone, etc.

    First class operation.
