Hey, why don't you get a small rack system? Something like a Jmp1 or Ada mp1 with a mesa 20/20 and a stereo 2x12 would be a really nice setup. And you can add also a multieffects unit if you like it. If you buy it used I believe you should spend less than 900$.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. My original plan was that I wanted to get a half stack because what guitar player doesn't want a stack? However, I'll have to take a look at some of these combos suggested. I hadn't even thought of rack stuff because I didn't realize they made 20watt power amps but that could be interesting. Thanks again.
