  • lets talk recording gear

hey guys...I've been an avid ZOOM PS-02 user for a good 2 years now but lately i've been looking to upgrade from this little 3 track recorder to something a little more fancy. My main concern is being able to find something that has guitar tone patches, drum loops, bass lines and recording capabilities all in one one,,which basically is a better zoom ps-02..any body have any recommendations on a good all-around recording unit like the zoom? thanks in advance fellas

Just a thought.....your PC can run recoding app that will give far more flexibility than the mentioned stand alone products. If you have a beefy enough processer and ram...you can get 32 track of digital for little or no moola..

I saw a newer Korg, the D4 this weekend at GC for 250.00.
Affordable on sale and easily the size of a large calculator or a DVD movie player.. uses compact flash. Looked like a nice compact unit.

+1. I run Cubase, here, at home, as well as our recording/rehearsing space.
