My rack stand should arrive Thursday or Friday, and I've got everything I need for my killer studio rig. My power amp is a stereo Carvin T100. I have a couple of stereo 2x12 cabs, so I could run one channel out to each. However, I'm thinking of selling one cab, leaving me with one. My power amp is 50 watts stereo or 100 watts bridged mono. I have all the pieces necessary to make this a fully two-channel rig: two preamps, each with a dedicated EQ, gate and effects.
Would there be any particular pros or cons of running the amp in stereo to the stereo cab inputs versus running the amp in bridged mono to the cab's mono input?
