those are the setting i use on my rivera m/s amps also. the volume makes up for the lack of treble EQ. it is great!!
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

I am going to try these settings with my Amp..which is kind of inbetween a Marshall and a Boogie. I usually run the bass and treble around 7-8 and the mid in the 3 range.

I am curious to see if it likes this setup better.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

Stiletto users...try these settings too. I spent hours tweaking this bad boy.

          Bold
          Tube Tracking
          100w
          Fluid Drive
          Pres 4
          Bass 6.5
          Mid 3.5
          Treb 4
          Gain 10

The only problems I experience with Dreamland Rebels settings are
the amp causes most of my guitars to squeal unless I back off on the guitar volume and the fact that it doesn't sound that good until you start turning the amp up LOUD.

I'm glad it's working out for you John. Although I wish you didn' thave to go through all that shit.

I liked the Stiletto without the mod. I can only imagine how good it sounds now. I do have a little sellers remorse, but at least I have the Soldano rig to make me feel better.

I'm glad you are happy with it John!

I'm glad things worked out. I can't imagine needing more gain than what that thing originally had, but to each their own. Enjoy!

You should come by and check it out. Its mind blowing. It really does have the best qualities from both the Rectifier and a high gain modded Marshall.
More importantly.. you need to check out the Marshall 1987x. Holy crap Jim. Its unbelievable.
