Bass cab question - ohmage.

Let's say I have a bass amp that says "320 watts @ 4 ohms" on the back, and has 2 - 1/4" phono jacks, and 1 - speakon jack. What the hell can I plug into it?

I assume I can plug 1 - 4 ohm speaker into it, or 2 - 8 ohm speakers, using the phono jacks. What about the speakon jack?

the speakon should handle down to 4 ohms. i am not sure if it can be used in conjunction with the 1/4" jacks. some bass cabs ONLY have speakon connectors these days.

GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
