Anyone have experience with JJ KT-77 and/or SED EL-34's?
Anyone have experience with JJ KT-77 and/or SED EL-34's?
I've narrowed it down to these two tube types. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two tubes tonewise and if they break up earlier or later? Thanks.
If you are retubing a VHT 2/50/2 the SED EL-34's are excellent. They really cut through the mix. I haven't tried the KT-77's but I've heard they are a nice compromise between 6L6's and EL-34's.
