Laney PL100?

Anybody have one of these back in the day? What did you think?

I realize that they are SS, but Laney is known to have some good stuff. Of course, it's always hard to trust the Harmony Central reviews.

Any thoughts?

I've had a couple over the years. I now have a 2X12 combo chassis that I converted to a head. For SS, they sound great. Mine has the push pull gain switch and when engaged it has great overdrive. Speakers make a difference too with these. The original G12-M70's sounded like ass. I run mine through a Avatar Contemporary 2X12 cab with V-30's and it sounds really good, especially at high volumes.
