Im thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these. I need a new amp to replace my Crate V Series (V1512). Has anybody played one? I can get one new for about $550.00 out the door.

Doesnt sound like a bad price for a new amp, so long as it comes with a warranty and a reasonable return policy. SamAsh is selling them for $800 new, so I'd say grab it.

I've never played peavey, but $250 under retail is a good deal none-the-less, again, so long as you can return it if you hate it.

If you want one better "pull the trigger" soon. They are discontinued. I tried one and decided to keep looking. I think I'm leaning towards the JSX combo eventhough it's bigger.

Make sure it works. I had Musicians Friend send me two of them when they were blowing them out. One had issues when powering up, one was completely dead. After the second one arrived dead I cancelled my order.
