Basically a "Spider-in-a-Pedal" kind of thing. If the Spider is cool to you, then you'll probably find this to be pretty cool as well. If not, then the XTL is for you.

There's some stuff out there on the web - Harmony Central had a write up on it. Check there.

I think that Pod XT and Pod XT pro sound way better than Pod XT Live, but a couple of days ago I saw Fish (Marillion's ex-singer's solo project) and his guitar player (who is a monster player) used XT Live with some Fender combo and I gotta say his tone was the shizznit.

So a POD 2.0 with the floorboard built into one. Sounds cool to me. I always thought they charged too much for the old floorboard.

You guys should check it out in person if you can before you plunk down any coin. I saw these at NAMM and they were not particularly well made. Mucho plastico.

Personally, I'd way rather go with the Behringer X V-Amp.

I think the V-Amp sounds better than a POD 2.0. It's pretty funny to see Line 6 copying Behringer this time

My friend owns a music store and the Behringer stuff especially the X-V Amp gets brought back so much the stuff piles up waiting to get sent back. Behringer is no hassle but still a pain in the ass having to send shit back all the time. My V-Amp 2 always went through batteries for some reason. The only Behringer thing that hasn't given me trouble is my 4x12 cab.

I don't know about the build quality of the Floor Pod but, my Podxt live takes a lot of abuse giging...even took a dump off the top of my half stack on to the concrete ground and didn't even have a mark.

Not so much the POD 2.0. More like a Spider I would say. With that said, the Spider is based on a mix of all kinds of stuff, but some of it is unique to the Spider. I think that's kind what this is.
