I have a TSL100 head and was playing around with the effects loop the other day. In doing so, I plugged a single cable from the send to the recieve without any effects in the loops. As I turned the FX mix knob from left to right (clockwise), I noticed a considerable amout of tone loss as I turned this knob. I understand that this knob will bring the effects from a parallel to serial. Turning the FX knob back to the left (counterclock-wise), the tone became much clearer and less muddy--
I got an email from Marshall saying that this is typical of the TSL100 head.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a mod that will 'correct' this condition so that regardless of where the FX mix knob is turned to that the clarity will remain the same.
thanks!
