Just Got A Boss RV-3

I know there are a few other pedals out there like Verbzilla and Holy Grail which I have not tried.

But this pedal does it for me. Plugged it into my Framus Cobra FX loop last night and dialed it in. Found a couple good settings right off the bat.

It does not cut the highs out of the amp like the Ibanez SDR 1000+ rack unit that I have.

I really like it. Its just what I was looking for when I don't want to haul my TC stuff around.

Being a complete pedal/effect n00b, what are some of the differences between stompboxes? Let's go with delay pedals. They both have exactly the same features, but one costs $25 and the other costs $150. (This is hypothetical.) What would I hear differently with the $150 pedal?
