    tremoverb clean sound?

    Does anyone here have a familiarity with both the Tremoverb and the X-100B? I'm looking into getting a Tremoverb combo but I really do need that jazzy clean. I don't play out any more, and the straight clean and distorted fusion sounds are basically where I live.

    The TremOverb had the best clean sound I had heard. I just did not like the dirty sound.

      The Tremo has a damn nice clean sound, good verb. These amps take 6L6 or EL34, clean was better with the 6L6. Can't comment on the X100B.

        The TVerb is one of the finest amps Mesa ever put out. I always though of it as a classy and intelligent Recto.
        Cleans were outstanding and the lead channel was super cool for classic rock, etc. Not for metal or the detuned glut that followed.
