Say have a 100 watt head with a 8 Ohm Cabinet. You pull 2 tubes out to make a 50 watt, what do you set the Ohm setting too??

4 ohms. I think I recall Pete (Twisteramps) saying he leaves it at 8 when he pulls tubes. Maybe he can confirm that. You never want the ohms set higher on the amp than the speaker cab is wired for.

Bogner and Peters Amps (among others) say to set it like Chris mentions above. I either do that or leave it alone... some amps can take the mismatch better than others.
