one of those new Marshall MGs - I hear they totally nail that And Justice For All tone.
I wanna try just about everything mentioned in this thread. Don't so too much of any of that stuff around here.
Although, a place in town has a Vetta, Engl ,Boogie & Genz gear along with the usual Marshall. I really need to go there spend some serious time there, when I'm not ducking in on the way home from work, so I can actually sit down and plug some stuff in.

I emailed them the other day. They are not making amps right now.
I would buy one sight unseen having never played one if they start making these again.
All top shelf military components, very touch sensitive with supposedly killer tone.
They say they are going to start production up next year but I guess they have been telling people this for some time (couple years or so).
Why can't they have all this shit in one place.

Koch Powertone. Both guitarists in the local band Aesma Daeva have them, and HOLY TONE!!! Not sure how they would work for the thrash/death thing my band is doing, but I've heard other local guys using the Bogners and Engls...and they don't touch the Koch.
Heh...don't touch the Koch.
