Laney GH 100 L?

I have a Laney gh50.
Its an ok amp but I don't seem to be able to get a really good lead tone out of it. Its also very loud. I don't seem to get to push it like I want to.
For the money though its a nice amp.

I used to use an AOR series 4x12 like a few others, but I sold it to go towards my Marshall cabinet. I've always liked the tube Laney stuff though.

I'm really pleased with my Gh100L, but I need a decent cab for it - and a new set of tubes...Any suggestions on both for playin hard rock/metal?
