other than the jubilee series my interest wains after around '77 on marshalls but I am curious if the jcm800's made around '82-84 have the same preamp circuit as the jubs ? differences if any ?

the 82 to 84 marshalls are alot different then the jub's, first they are built better, and in my opinion with a pedal in front have just as much distortion as a jub and sound alot better! Down side, only one channel, learn to use the volume control.Comment

cool, I prefer a master volume ,singel channel amp anyway... playing with the gain and master is something I am very used to doing.
was hoping this 800 carried the same preamp circuit.Comment
