Here's a shot of the rig thats getting all the play time round' here:

01' Les Paul Standard loaded with WCR Goodwoods > Cameron Jose HG modded 1959SLP > 1990 Marshall slant cab with Greenbacks.

It's like this, I've been playing for over 25 years now, pretty much full time...I just discovered this new set up / rig - it's called a Les Paul into a Marshall. I predict it's going to be the Next Big Thing, all the kids will be doing it

Thats it. No pedals, no nothin and just about every tone I'll ever need lurking in there. The amp is super versatile. Mark was Grade A Pro and pleasant to work with, had the amp done in 5 weeks. I couldn't be happier.

What's so great about those pups? I have 81/85 EMGs in my LP but I'm thinking going passive as I'm leaning more rock less metal now.

The WCR's are some of the finest pups available. The difference between these and EMG ? you will hear the way your guitar actual sounds and the way you actually play. Some guys love how much oomph the battery driven pups sound, but they sound processed and driven and tend to cover up things. The WCR's are unforgiving in their transparancy if that makes sense. You may not like what you hear - because you will hear absolutley everything...the set I have excels at rock / hard rock tones - but clean up beautifully and will do that mid crunchy thing...

As usual, do some research. YMMV

I'm very interested in WCRs. Unfortunately, he doesn't make 7 string pickups.
