I have been having some issues with my rack system and I think I am getting lazy as I get older. Anyway, I use a Mesa rack system that sounds absolutely killer, but ever time I move it, it seems to be tempermental when I set it back up to gig (something comers loose - midi or regular cable, and it is sometimes to pain to correct).
I have a 50 watt Line 6 at home which sounds great, but it does not have the juice (the other guitarist uses a Mashall head, its loud and my mesa keeps up with it no problem, but not the 50 wt Line 6).
I am looking at a 200 wt Line 6 Head. I like the way it sounds by itself and I am specifically looking for something which is plug an play (I do not do pedal boards).
My concern is the last time I played with someone uses a Line 6 head, I seem to think that it just did not cut through the mix live with a full band - just something dead about the sound, especially campared to my mesa. Am I crazy, what do people think? Before I drop the money on something that I may have to keep, I wanted to get some opinions.
