    Great tone comes from pushing the power amp, if you don't use it, you might as well get a cheap preamp and drive a stereo, headphones, PC etc..
    You can disagree all you want, but I own one, and it's fine for home use at very low volumes (there is an attenuator built in), as well as getting pretty loud when you want it to. And THD's line out is totally different than other amps' line outs. Read about it on their site.

      I own one too, but I never use it at home because the internal attenuator makes it sound really tinny and boxy at low volume, on any cabinet I used it with.

      And would't you say it would be wasted, if you can only use it as a front end to a power amp, regardless of what their website - not a beacon of objectivity, IMHO - says?
