  • Jackson amp

Well I finally got to check out my JG3 Jackson 100watt head.
Made in England ser#3086 I'm assuming 86-87 year of MFG. Very British sounding as it should be.Very Marshall / Laney type tone. The breakup threshhold is very slow to come while turning it up but when cranked it sizzles.Kind of the Slash/ George Lynch type of sizzle if that makes sense.
3 position mid boost ,push pull for mid boost gain.2 channel hi low gain.
Very sweet amp not too dark but not a bright amp either.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Good for you. Nice amps, from what I can tell and have been told. Please post any clips you may have, and share it with the class. hehe.

I'm assuming again that the gain I and II knobs are for pre amp (I) gain and (II) for the other could this be right. Both gain controls affect tone on both channels.I guess I need a POD now.
      Really? well screw Mark Twain.
