        No, that is only part of the story. The circuit architecture is similar but the components, pots, chassis mounted tube sockets, controls, and jacks, of the SLO are different than that of the Decatone.

          That should not affect the sound then? Longevity, reliability and long-term component characteristic consistency is likely to be somewhat better with the SLO.
