I don't know if there has been any post's on this amp but I was wondering does anyone here have one? used one? Whats your opinion is it worth the money? Feedback would be appreciated
Thank
tried one at the store some time back, the dealer was really set on selling me one. didn't like the sound for my taste, sounded really hollow (not scooped mids, hollow muffled tone) and it didn't produce the grinding edge in the sound that I like so much...
it's all a matter of taste ofcourse, but for me personally I think there are better alternatives for the money
only real option to know If YOU like it, go and try one out
I heard a guy jam on one at the 2005 NAMM show and I really did not like it. THe VHT booth was right across the way and I thought the Pitbull and the Deliverence kicked it's ass... To my ears anyway. Muffled is a good adjective for it. It had a very distinct mid voicing but I would say it was more scooped then buttery. I like buttery wet mids ala Soldano so this amp was really not for me. The price for the tone was not worth it...
I played one and it sounded ok. But like already said , you have to listen to it. According to the music store, they are well built. So If you like the way they sound then go for it.
Alot of custom built amps have a voicing that the player has to like. I found my sound in Krank. I was looking at amps trying to find the sound I heard in my head. When I played the Rev 1, I found my tone.
Good luck with the amp, so fun to get out there and play different ones.
My dude of Beyond Fear played both Deizel and Framus..even while on tour in Europe/Mexico and he's getting a Bogner Endoresment after playing my Uber..so.

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.
I have a Diezel Herbert, and are extremely satisfied. Haven't tried the VH4 that much, but I found the Herbert more usefull for me when I tried them both. The Herbert is the holy grail of metalamps imo.
