I wander what kind of distortion pedal should I use to play some heavier stuff ala freak kitchen/randy rhoads/paul gilbert. My bad monkey does the job at high volume settings but in my room it's not enough. What you would suggest? DS-1? Rat? MXR dist+? My Jackhammer sounds like poo thru it :\

Pearl DS-06 gets my vote. Blows away the DS-1 IMO.
