its not hard ,just time consuming.u gotta pull the cab apart to get the front bit/grill out then take all the staples out and then recover with your choice of pattern/print.its 100%cotton so sound still travells through it fine.

That looks great bro,, nothin wrong with personalizing your stuff
i had done the camo thing to my randall also

which looked great and got a lot of cool remarks,,,BUT,,i found at high volume, i could hear the fabric fluttering when chuggin chords,,,so it had to come off.

Scott Ian had his Marshalls green camo'd back in the '80s.

Painting the stock grill would be the best of both worlds then, eh?

Painting the grill!? NOOOoooo! Don't do it. And don't strip 'em either! You'll never get around to finish them. These are mine, look:

Only if you do it real light as not to solidify the grill with the paint. a metal grill that has the real little holes would be best for the paint treatment.

Scott Ian had them custom made too..

I run my cabs with 2 beer coasters pinned to the front covering. I guess it's decoration but my intention was functional. I use them as cone baffles for my top 2 speakers in my 412. Cuts down on the piercing. I looked for stripper tassles but a local dancer at a shop told me those went out of style years ago. That tells you how much I pay attention to the stripper scene.

If you stretch the grill cloth enough and get it tight it wont flap. And just for the record. The marshall grills are paper not cloth so it may make the cab sound differant.
