  • Vht 2/50/2

    Hi,

does anybody have an idea of how much a VHT 2/50/2 poweramp weights?
Trying to figure out how to arrange my rack...

    Thanks!

Wow, I've never thought about that.. It would suck if a big-ass poweramp suddenly came crashing down destroying my other gear!
I'd guess the biggest and heaviest piece of equipment should be at the bottom tho, just in case?

I keep my power amp in a seperate 4 space case by itself. Everything else is in another 8 space case. It's easier to cart around that way.

Not sure how much the VHT weighs. I don't think it makes a difference as long as you keep it at the bottom or in a seperate case.

My 2/50/2 has some weight to it, but it doesn't weigh near as much as my Mesa Boogie 2:90. They should have the specs for it on the VHT website (dimensions, weight, etc.) Hope this helps.

I have my VHT 2/90/2 in the bottom of my rack because it's the heaviest of all of the components. Lower is better.

Agreed. I believe my 2/90/2 weighs 39 lbs. or close to that. I remember from the shipping label.

                hi guys,

no worries, I do put the poweramp on the bottom of the case

Just trying to figure out if it would be possible (carrying) one case with everything (for ease of connecting stuff) or do put the VHT in a seperate case...
I don't have a balance here to weigh my own 2/50/2 and I can't find any info on vhtamp.com

                tnx

Good thing I saw this thread before I boxed mine up for shipping. 32 & 1/2 pounds is the weight of a 2/50/2.
