    I use a Maxon OD808 or OD9 and sometimes a MXR ZW44(SD1 on steroids) with my Dual Recto. I get a thick, chunky, and tight high gain sound similar to Killswitch Engage or Unearth.

      Hey John, I've heard that the AC adapter plug on it is a male connector. Can I just change that with a proper one that will connect to my snake?

        I use a maxon OD808 or an old 70s era Ross Distortion pedal (both set up as boosts; gain down and level up)

            Yes, just make sure you have the polarity correct.
