  • So what is the best cost effective way to crank the DSL 2000 100 wt

Say to 5 or 6, but be able to pot it down to lower room levels? Where its
usually running at about 1/ 3/4"s? There are some $10 pots on the
bay' but im thinking these are just too cheap? Then someone mentioned
something for around $250 that another boutique builder offered?
I know about the "Brake" from Marshall, but that suckers $510.00!
Anything that works great, for under $125? Thanks

But isn't the loop after the pre and before the power? I can't see how this would do anything.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.

It'll still work. Crank your amp and then lower it with the volume pedal. That's the cheapest route.

it's just adding another master volume though (which can be helpful if the taper of the existing one doesn't work for you), but you aren't driving the power tubes hard

I'm using the hotplate and reasonably happy with it.

Even 25 watts turned halfway up is loud as hell.

No. Maybe the TSL has it.

Just buy a bigger house so that you can crank it. Mine likes to be aired out.
