ok, I know I'm going to get the whole "true, all tube distortion blah blah amp blah blah" thing, but I'm trying to add a second heavy channell to my Valveking head and was wondering what you guys reccomend. I'm not a fan of Boss, even the MT-2, unless it was the Keeley Twilight Zone Mod, and I really don't like too many digital distortion boxes, but I have liked a few that I've played.
Right now, I'm looking at the Rocktron Zombie Rectified Distortion, or the Marshall Jackhammer.
My genre is thrash/death metal and I'm looking for a sound that's heavy as hell. Kinda like Lamb of God's sound on the As the Palaces Burn album. It seems like the ZOmbie will really suit my needs.
