Jackson JX-3 Preamp with 2 12Ax7's inside..any good?

Whats your take on the Jackson JX-3 Preamp? I would be using it
with a Marshall DSL 2000 50 wt head with 65wt Celestions 4x12
Any good? Does it rival the ADA MP-1?

I had one. It was a cool preamp for the $80 or so it cost me. I'm not sure why'd you use it with a DSL 2000 though.

I have one - bought it for $99, figured what the hell at that price. It's not bad. Reminds me more of a two channel rockmaster than anything, but a little more clarity IMHO. Not bad at all, but the MP-1 can cop a wider variety of tones and has a selectable solid state preamp and has a built in chorus. And can do midi. And is usually at least twice as much.
