First off let me say i have been a HUGE marshall fan since the late 80's. A few years ago i fell into a scott splawn modded marshall 2203 head. I have been playing the crap out of that and will be getting my new quick rod 1/2 stack setup in a few weeks time. If anyone is looking for the old standby "hotrodded marshall tone" the splawn is the answer. really they are great sounding amps. I have tried/played through/owned many different setups and for me the splawns work the best. The word is getting out though so it does take some time after you order one to get it built. Worth the wait though. Jake
